If your resume feels like it’s saying a lot...but not getting results, this might be why.
One of our recent Comprehensive Resume Review clients came to us with a clear goal: land higher-end roles in Account Management, Marketing, or Business Development.
They had a strong international background. Plenty of experience. A lot to offer.
But their resume was telling the wrong story.
It was long. Unfocused. And it buried the most relevant parts beneath older, less aligned experience. The summary didn’t speak to what they were targeting next. It just recapped where they’d been.
So we helped them tighten the narrative. We explained how to reframe their experience around the roles they actually wanted, moving the most relevant skills and outcomes to the forefront. Most importantly, we explained what they should cut, explaining why it didn’t actively support the new direction.
The result? A stronger marketing document that landed a new role they’re genuinely excited about.
If your resume is trying to do too much, it’s probably not doing the one thing that matters: making your case.
Trying to land a better fit? Focus on clarity. Show what makes you a match.
Not sure where to start?
