The Resume Creation service is designed for jobseekers who don’t have a resume at all or are starting from scratch. Whether you're entering the workforce, making a career change, or returning after a break, this service will give you a fully built resume tailored to your goals, strengths, and experience.

 

After purchase, you'll receive a brief intake form to help us prepare. Once that's completed, we’ll schedule a one-on-one call to gather the specific information needed to build your resume. This conversation allows us to dig into your background, clarify your goals, and identify what should be highlighted to position you effectively.

 

This is different from the Resume Edit service, which assumes you're starting with an existing resume that needs to be reworked. The Resume Creation service is built from the ground up; no existing document required!

 

As with all Karpiak Consulting services, your resume will be built using Adam’s years of recruiting experience. What’s included, how it’s phrased, and what’s emphasized will all be strategically aligned with your goals and the way recruiters actually evaluate resumes. We focus on clarity, alignment, and relevance.

 

If you’re starting from zero and want a resume that gets it right from the start, this is the service for you!

 

After purchase, we will email you a link to the intake form to the email address used on the purchase. If you would like us to email the form to a different email address, please email resumes@karpiakconsulting.com along with your order number and we will send you the intake form link. 

 

To make sure everything goes smoothly, please remember that we can only process information sent to resumes@karpiakconsulting.com. Info sent to other email addresses or via LinkedIn message might not make it into our work queue, and we want to avoid any delays!

All Sales Final
Due to the nature of our services and limited availability, all sales are final (including gift cards) and refunds are not offered, even if you secure a job or change your mind after submitting payment.

 

This policy is in place because administrative work begins behind the scenes right away, including time spent reviewing and preparing your materials. Even if you haven’t submitted your documents yet, we limit availability and set turnaround times based on each order. When someone cancels, it leaves a gap we can’t fill.

 

That said, if you’d like to transfer or gift your purchased service to someone else, just let us know.

 

Turnaround Times

We aim to complete your new resume within 1 week of purchase, depending on when we receive your completed intake form and when your call is scheduled. The sooner we have the information we need, the sooner we can get to work. If there are any delays or follow-ups needed, we’ll keep you posted every step of the way.

 

Client Responsibilities and Turnaround Times

We provide estimated turnaround times (ETAs) for our services based on our current work schedule at the time of purchase. We do our best to ensure these estimates are as accurate as possible.

 

Please note that these ETAs assume the client submits all necessary materials and information in a timely manner upon purchase. Delays in providing required content/information may result in a later delivery date of up to 2 weeks. We cannot guarantee the original ETA if materials are not submitted promptly, as your service will be rescheduled based on current availability at the time we receive your materials.

Order Confirmation and ETA

By placing your order, you agree to and understand the estimated time for completion (ETA). We prioritize quality over speed, so while we try to meet deadlines, occasional delays may happen. If we are running a bit longer than the provided ETA, we will reach out ahead of time to give you a heads-up. If your service is past the estimated completion time, please check folders such as Spam, Promotions, or Shopping. If you still can’t find it, just reach out, and we’ll happily re-send it.

 

Rescheduling Calls

We’re unable to reschedule any calls within 24 hours of the appointment. If you need to make changes, please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you!

 

Review and Edit Process

Please note that reviews and edits are not conducted through live or collaborative sessions (e.g., no phone or video calls). Once we’ve sent back your completed review or edited resume/cover letter, the process is considered complete. Our editing service offers a final product based on our expertise and opinion of what would make your resume most effective. We do not offer multiple drafts or revisions.

 

Gift Cards

The value of gift cards never expires and can be used at any time. Gift cards are non-refundable under any circumstances, including partial usage or unused balances. Detailed instructions on how to redeem your gift card can be found in the FAQ section of our website. 

 

Final Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing and finalizing your documents before submitting them for job applications or networking. You're free to use or not use the suggestions and documents we provide at your discretion.

 

No Guarantee of Success

While we’re here to provide expert advice and guidance, hiring involves many factors…some beyond our control, like timing, actual jobs vs. ghost jobs, location, and even a little luck! We cannot guarantee any specific outcomes, but we're here to give you the best possible tools for your job search.

 

Liability

Karpiak Consulting is not responsible for any damages or losses that may result from the use of the advice, suggestions, or documents provided. The decision to use our services is entirely yours.
