Refocus Your Pitch

Ever feel like your resume is working against you...even when you know you’re qualified?
That was the case for a Review Bundle client who came to me with a clear goal: pivot into something more aligned with their values. They had the experience. They were more than capable. But their resume was holding them back. The framing didn’t match the roles they were targeting.
The whole thing read more like a career biography than a focused pitch. It didn’t tell the story they wanted to tell...and it wasn’t helping recruiters see the fit.
So what did we change? We didn’t rewrite everything. We refocused.
We aligned the resume with the roles they were targeting. With just a few targeted shifts, their resume finally reflected what they were capable of, and hiring teams could clearly see why they made sense for the role.
You don’t need to start over. But if you’re trying to pivot, your resume can’t leave room for doubt. It needs to make the case.
Trying to pivot into something better? You just need to show the right story.
Not sure what’s holding your resume back?
